Principal Act Application Process

Applicant Responsibilities and Directions

Last updated: September 11, 2026

The Principal Act provides a stipend to eligible principals and assistant principals in Alabama who successfully complete all APLDS program requirements. This guide walks you — the applicant — through completing your Principal Act Application in ACE, from logging in to signing your finished application. More information about the Principal Act and APLDS program can be found at alabamaprincipals.org.
Before you start: Start and complete your application only after your LEA notifies you that you are eligible for the Principal Act stipend.
